Q: Mine did not come with directions. Can someone tell me how to work this

Actually my doctor told me how too use it, but mine came with instructions. Place the ball on the inside of the shoe on the spot you want to expand. Close the part on the outside over the ball. Gently turn and tighten to keep in place so that it will stretch the part of the shoe that bothers you. Make sure not to over tighten as to damage the shoe. Leave it on overnight. It works best on shoes that are leather or leather like.

Q: Can I order extra replacement screw knobs?

Q: We juat received ours and can't seem to move screw knob at all. Please help or do we need a new one?

Make sure that you squeeze the handles to relieve pressure on the screw. Then, when you apply pressure to the leather, do it with the handles. Then tighten the knob only enough to hold the handles at the position to which you squeezed them. If, after you relieve pressure from the screw/knob, you still can’t turn the knob, then I suggest you contact the seller. He’s very responsive. I had a problem with mine, and he refunded my money and told me not to bother to return the defective one. I ordered a new one, and it is perfect.

Q: Will this extend down into an ankle high rain boot?

I made a video, “Boot Demonstration”. It’ll be available in 2 days. The opening on the device is 5”. If the material on your boot is flexible and you can reach the toe area within five inches this item will work. As seen in the video, a rubber Bogs rain boot can be flex to reach but will it stay? Rubber is slippery and I’m not sure it would keep the stretch necessary without applying heat.
