Purchased and received frozen on dry ice. Prepared with a mustard smear, cloves, pineapples and cherries. Brought it to my in-laws for palm Sunday dinner. In the 20 years married to my husband we have never had a ham at holiday dinners because my Mother in law doesn’t care for ham. She loved it! Everyone loved it! It was so tasty and juicy. Worth it and I’ll be buying it again!

This ham really hit the mark. 'Old Fashion Smoke', low sodium (about 50% less than many brands), which I really enjoyed not getting extremely thirsty, like from other brands of ham that are injected with all the chemicals and spice flavorings to 'cure' their hams. The true flavor of the meat came through, was totally delicious.

We found it slightly dry but I did apply a glaze 30 minutes prior till finish. Its very tastes and is hard to stop eating. I might try a local purchase next time but we would certainly give this ham a strong and thoughtful consideration.

Great ham. No fat or gristle. Fed five people and still had some left over. Don't let the thought of a mail order ham scare you. Comes well packaged in ice packs.
