Definitely. It is lightweight indeed. At least for me and compared with other trousers I did try in the past. Fabric is water resistant and really light. However, this is a relative concept. Eventually it could exist something else lighter, but this is a clear lightweight item.

Q: Will these work for an electrician?

Electricians are suppose to wear100% cotton clothing.

Q: Where can I order replacement buttons for these pants?

I hadn't lost the only button on these britches yet, but if I did I would look into my sewing kit where there are a variety of buttons cut off old BDUs over the years.

Q: Are they "pre-shrunk ?

I don't know if they are pre -shrunk. However, I wash them on cold and let them air dry. The are pretty good pants. I have using them for 4 years now. When it is time for me to purchase new pants I will buy them again. Good Luck
