I bought a 17.64 oz bag in May 2024 and have had NO issues regardless of what recipe was used. Reordering in June 2025 after a year of making bread for the family, it definitely lasts and is WAY cheaper than buying individual packs from the store. I keep it in its original packaging and then in a ziploc baggie to avoid mess. Definitely recommend 👌🏼

This yeast is really great. Great rise and I expect to buy it all the time now. I bake most of my own bread items so I"m grateful for this product.

I just opened this today and made the best loaf of buttermilk bread I’ve ever tasted in my bread machine using this yeast. The yeast I had been using was making my bread taste weird, no matter what recipe I tried. I was ready to give up trying to use my bread machine because I thought something was wrong with it. I probably had a jar of weird tasting yeast instead. This yeast arrived intact in a vacuum pack type foil bag. It was soft immediately as soon as the bag was opened, but it felt like a brick prior to being opened. It didn’t leave any weird odors or flavors in the bread I made. The loaf was delicious. I ate a large piece for lunch and cut another shortly after that because it was so good. The texture was perfect and the dough rose perfectly as well. It has a good expiration date so it will last. I used binder clips to close the bag after cutting it open and then I put it inside a plastic storage container in the fridge. I might transfer it to a glass container later, but it’s well sealed for now. I’m happy to have discovered this brand of yeast. And it’s a relief to know that my bread machine works just fine. I just needed better yeast and now I found some. Thank you, Rufus, for bringing this product up during my search.

The yeast seems normal enough, but I’m struggling to get the right rise out of it. I’ve been baking for 15 plus years and using instant yeast for the past 5. I bake multiple times a week. I’ve been rather disappointed with this yeast. It does rise but not within the expected time frame.Edit: The company reached out and offered a refund or replacement. I appreciated the customer service. I chose a replacement because I wanted to give them another chance and I’m glad I did. I made burger buns with a perfect and timely rise. I would buy this yeast again due to their customer service. The product is good. If you get a bad batch, they will fix it.

I like it. Good price. I've been getting a good rise with this yeast in my bread machine. I was using Kroger brand yeast before with inconsistent results from jar to jar.

This yeast is amazing. A quick rise and excellent flavor. I prefer this over the yeast at the grocery store.

I bought this same yeast a year ago and it had a November ‘25 expiration date on it. The yeast I just ordered has the same exact date which tells me it’s not fresh.Update: the seller reached out to me and sent a replacement with a later expiration date. He was very nice and excellent to deal with. I use this yeast in my bread machine and it works very well.
