Good
Sigvaris is worth the higher price. These are nice and strong and comfortable. The cheaper socks on here don't tend to be that way. These are men's socks but I'm a woman and they fit just fine, I used the size chart. *Update* I also have a pair of higher priced Sigvaris secure for women, but these dynaven Sigvaris for men are much more effective for swelling. I now use the other ones for sleeping in.

Pricey but functional
I've bought about 10 pairs of Sigvaris compression socks and I've also bought other brands that cost less. These Sigvaris socks are just better socks. They're easier to pull on past the heel. They last quite a while. I machine-wash them and let them air dry, in hopes that will make the $$$ investment per pair last longer than tumble drying them would. These Dynaven socks are proving to be more durable than the Sigvaris men's merino wool compression socks. I loved the merino wool ones! Very luxurious feel, those. But they cost even more than the Dynaven blend socks, and they wore out at the heel faster than these Dynaven blends do. So I recommend the Dynaven blend here more highly than the merino version.I haven't found any other compression socks that are as easy to get along with over time as these Sigvaris ones.

Best compression socks I've had
I have to wear compression socks for medical reasons. I've tried different brands and these are the best. The fabric is durable and comfortable. They fit well and don't dig into my legs.

Not tight enough
These are supposed to be compression stockings. They aren’t tight enough. They are also too long. Don’t buy. Go to a medical store and get them specially measured.

A Worthwhile Purchase
These stockings, prescribed by my husband's vascular doctor, fit as they should, and they have helped enormously in keeping his edema under control. I don't quite understand how they work, but I'm definitely pleased with the results. After wearing these stockings for a month, and going to physical therapy, my husband vascular doctor released him for a year, cautioning him to continue wearing these stockings for the rest of his life.Although the stockings are very expensive, they hold up very well. We wash the stockings on the handing seeing on the washer, and either hang dry (when away from home), or lay them flat on top of the dryer(at home). Because of the expense, we only bought two pairs of the stockings at first, to assure ourselves that they would be worth the cost. Upon seeing the results of wearing the stockings everyday, we purchased two more pairs of stockings. This was indeed a worthwhile purchase.
