Learning Curve
First GoPro and even though I pick up mechanical knowledge like a greaseball picking up lint off the floor there was a learning curve with this. Honestly they could have built in power button functionality (long-press) into the camera button buut.. its enabled me to start my own youtube channel sending go karts around a golf course, so Im happy with it. Honestly this is a great little camera. default is fisheye so if that makes you sick like it does me, switch to standard asap.I will say the first time I charged the battery it took almost 18 hours to get from zero to full, then the battery drains at a rate of roughly 1% every 2 minutes while you're in settings, making me think I had a dud and wanting to return it.. but supposedly that drain rate is normal while the screens are on (drains slower while just recording) and after the first battery charge I can now go from 28%-100% in less than an hour, so maybe it was just a new battery the RNG gods gave me.Beyond satisfied, will most likely get one or two more for additional recording angles when I rip along the golf cart path at work.for the record the image uploaded is a screenshot of a video encoded in premiere pro at maximum bitrate output, adding a couple overlays. this strips a lot of the image quality from the video; before encoding, you can see each individual blade of grass in 1080p/60fps.. nevermind that this has options for 1080p/240fps or 5k/30fps. 5k! Damn!
