... I just replaced which had only Very Dark Grays - not ink BLACK like this one. I don't know how or why but side-by-side comparison of black printed pages w/ OLD Toner vs. NEW ejet Toner the printed pages visibly showed that the ejet Toner pages are clearly a darker BLACK. I was Surprised. I did not expect it.The Toner installed with NO Printer ERRORS or RED Flashing Lights from my printer at any time. It took me maybe 30 seconds to physically install the toner and get it operational - DONE. I did also read through short but well-written "good" ENGLISH, step-by-step instructions which took me 3 more minutes of work to make sure of everything I'm doing was correct. I've installed Toner cartridges before so I'm comfortable with this easy process already.And the Toner I removed is NOT old and has plenty of toner shaking around inside and I'll keep it as a "backup" because - it works at least just no dark blacks on that one.OTHER THOUGHTS: BTW, the past several Toner Cartridges I used I was frequently hunting around in the Brother printer settings to make my blacks more black because they were - just only Very Dark Gray ONLY - it was a Bummer.Also, after 4 days, I can't comment on longevity or # of pages this printed but if it makes sense later I will update number of pages printed IF it was NOT OK or did not meet expectations or any other issues with this toner cartridge.I noticed recently that price was now REDUCED MORE ... Need to check that! Makes it an even BETTER DEAL.

Low cost toner but 1 out of the 3 pack cartridges was useless. Everything printed with a wide streak of toner along the right side of each page. I reached out to the seller and they sent a replacement cartridge. That cartridge arrived with toner leaking into the packaging. I clean it up but no surprise that cartridge also caused streaking. I reached out and submitted a second ticket for the new cartridge to the seller but this time they did not respond. Decide to purchase from a different budget manufacturer and their product had no streaking. This product is the lowest cost option but if 2 out of 4 cartridges are unusable requiring urgent unplanned purchasing of replacements then its not really a great value. Can't really recommend it.

For the price of one printer cartridge, I got three cartridges. Not only was the price was right, it also took care of my printer problems. When I used to print stuff, I would suffer from streaks and a dark page print out. I tried cleaning the printer tray with a physical cleaning and the cleaning sheet. But I would still have the streaks and dark pages. Now that I changed cartridges, my pages are clear; no more streaks and dark pages. This over ten years old printer prints like new! I've got new life in my printer again. What a bargain!!!

Purchased this 3-pack since it was an "Amazon Choice" and highly rated. Unfortunately, first test print page came out 50% full of black ink. Printed a few more test prints and it never got any better. Removed the toner from the drum and cleaned up the drum. Tried again. Same result. Cleaned the drum again and replaced with my old toner. Printed beautifully. Back to the new cartridge and same black ink mess. Cleaned drum again, put old cartridge in and printed good. Since it was a 3-pack, I opened another new cartridge. Replaced the old with the new, same black mess again. Not sure why these cartridges don't work for me, as obviously a lot of people are getting good results due to the ratings. Maybe just bad luck. Returned to Amazon and will order a different brand. Can't recommend.

We have a Brother MFC-7840W printer and use it all the time and as a result we have to constantly go through toners. The brother brand toners can be expensive. This toner is compatible with our printer and the ink is really dark. A great toner at a great price (the packaging is better than other off brand toners, it's very professional)!! If you have any hesitation to purchase this, don't. Buy it an see it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

It’s packaged nicely, works in the machine, and is a cheaper option, but does not print as many pages as stated. I got to roughly 1,200 pages before it started printing lighter, then at 1,500 pages it was so faded, the page could hardly be read.Brother brand is definitely a better quality in my opinion, but I guess you get what you pay for. Just don’t anticipate going through toner this fast and feel cheated out of the extra 1,000 plus prints.

It was a nice idea for the price. But I installed two of the three black and white cartridges that came in this order. They both left faint streaks or lines up and down the middle of the page, even after printing several dozen pages. I followed all the shaking instructions and cleaned the drum using the wire slider, replacing the slider in its proper position. The clincher was that I shook and then put my Brother OEM cartridge back in, and even though it was expired, it still looked better after six months of use, and thousands of pages, than these cartridges look right out of the box. You get what you pay for, I guess. I loved the price though! Haha. I am returning them through Amazon and will just keep ordering the original expensive Brother OEM cartridge.

Inserted new toner cartridge and it worked perfectly. I do, however, have two vertical streaks on printouts and don't know how to remove them. I followed instructions to a tee including going back and forth on the main cartridge to clean it. Still, very happy for the purchase. The vertical streaks have disappeared, having more to do with the carriage, not the toner cartridges. I will order again and again.
