Dyson Hose, Attachment Dc27 Dc28

This fit our 10 year old Dyson vacuum and works really well. Wish I had replaced with this hose sooner.

I've waited too long to buy a replacement. My old/original hose would cause the telescopic handle/wand to get stuck in the hose as i would pull it out of the vacuum due to the original hose tearing open towards the top. With this replacement i no longer have that problem. The construction and materials feel as good a quality as the original and, most importantly, the quality of the hose seems to match the original.All original attachments fit the new hose and the handle/wand slides in and out of the new hose without any issue.

Our wonderful Dyson got stretched a little too much and the cord broke. My son had me buy this one for our vacuum and he put it on in less than 5 minutes. Set it fit perfectly and the vacuum is up and running again. Thank you!

This fits my Dyson DC28 perfectly, however when I was installing it I almost returned it because I thought it was the wrong size! In order to properly get it to fit over the base behind the motor I had to use WD40 and really work to get it to slide all the way on so it properly clicked into place. I couldn't figure out why it was just a hair too tall to click and if it wasn't clicked I could wrap the cord or use it in any way. Finally after taking everything apart and comparing how the original hose connected compared to the new on I realized it needed to slide down further, despite how firmly it wouldn't move any more. So WD40 inside and out and some wiggling and then POP it snapped into place. Perfect! I'm am so excited that it was such a cheap fix, I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to look for a replacement and living with duct tape.

***SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY FROM DYSON***My initial review of this hose (below) shows that I was more than pleased with this purchase. I bought this non OEM replacement hose in March 2013 and have used my Dyson (which the hose was for) less than 24 times since replacing this hose as I purchased an Electrolux Precision Brushroll Clean Bagless Upright Vacuum prior to replacing my Dyson's hose. I've used the Electrolux for much of my cleaning and saving my Dyson for deep cleaning of bare floors and various other areas where attachments are needed as I own just about every Dyson attachment. Plus I use a Shark 2 in 1 rechargeable stick vac for daily cleaning of my hardwood floors so the Dyson is pulled out ONLY when I do a more deep cleaning requiring attachments. Last night when I was vacuuming my hardwood kitchen floor with my Dyson (using wand and this replacement hose to prep it for a gloss treatment), I noticed that I could hear air hissing from the hose and when I looked, there was a hole in the rubber of this hose where it attaches to the wand. Not very pleased as this is why I originally replaced the hose. I will add that the original hose that came with my Dyson formed a hole in the same place, but that was AFTER two+ years of the Dyson being my sole vacuum and a less than careful cleaning lady who would slam the wand back into the hose that came with the Dyson. The hole in this hose should not have formed as I am the only one who uses the vacuum, am EXTREMELY careful and I RARELY use the vacuum. Needless to say, I'm VERY disappointed and will be purchasing a new hose directly from Dyson.******** ORIGINAL REVIEW ********My cleaning lady broke the hose to my Dyson and tried to tape it. After she was let go, I took apart my Dyson to try to figure out why I had poor suction. I found the issue and promptly ordered this part. It has worked perfectly and I'm so pleased I didn't have to pay to have my Dyson repaired. It's a great replacement part and I have NO complaints

We’ve had a Dyson for many years and the hose finally wore a hole into it. My wife wanted a new Dyson, I bought this instead and it works perfect. It was easy to install and we saved a lot of money.

Perfect replacement hose for your Dyson. I have had this vacuum for years, but the original hose had a hole in it, so it wasn't working. Wife wanted to get rid of it and get a new one. With the hose being the only thing wrong with it I decided this replacement hose would be cheaper option to try and I am glad I did. This replacement hose is perfect and makes it just like new. Just note and make sure you are buying it for your correct model Dyson.
