Because it is junk. Mine did same thing.

I am not sure what you are asking. You can blend to match the color if your existing dash, but the repaired area just peeks up and doesn't last anyway.

Q: can it repair leather steering wheel cracks?

I used it on the left side of the driver's leather seat and with all the sliding in and out it has held up.
