Kid-friendly Flouride toothpaste
I asked my dentist to suggest a fluoride toothpaste for my 4.5 year old who needed to get off the baby toothpastes. She suggested this brand as most adult toothpastes may be too spicy for young children. My son adjusted to this pretty well and it seems to be producing enough froth / foam as well.Fluoride is necessary to prevent cavities in children along with other healthy habits such as reduced sweet intake, regular flossing, brushing correctly, etc.However, this toothpaste contains xylitol which is a sweetener linked to long-term heart issues. I am also concerned about the usage of artificial flavors.
