I needed a laptop to replace mine for pen testing and daily driving. This was a good model for what I needed. Priced low but I took a chance on it… they did not disappoint.First of all the laptop I was sent was a huge upgrade from what I bought. Was supposed to be an i7 7th Gen but it actually has an i7 8th Gen. it was supposed to be 16gb Ram but it has 24gb. It was supposed to be a 512gb SSD but it actually has a 512 nvme.The laptop is in excellent shape and performs well beyond what I was expecting- ThinkPads have always been great for running Linux but damn is thing a Rockstar.Great job Amazon!!!

The battery received in the laptop did not hold a charge!!

Physically excellent condition. Barely any noticeable scratches or defects. Finger print scanner works. Seems to be running smoothly. Feels great. Battery seems good. Let's see how it runs for the next few months.

El producto recibido está excelente. La única critica es que está agregado un skin en tapa y parte interna y eso hace que no se pueda saber que tan rayado está el equipo originalmente. De cualquier manera es una calcomanía de muy buena calidad y perfecta y hace que el equipo se destaque. Sobre la pantalla ni una sola queja. Perfecto estado. La batería bien sabiendo que tuvo ya su uso. Y el equipo en funcionamiento perfecto.

At first I thought this was a wonderful deal. I've had this machine since September and only used it a few times and now the screen has a big band of static right down the center. I'm past the 30 day return window. Ugh. Also, I realize now that it only ships with one of the two batteries (and it does, indeed, say in the specs it only comes with one battery) but that's probably why it's partially so cheap.Anyway, the screen went bad just a few months after purchase without hardly any use.I suppose that's the wager for the cheap money.

Buying this Thinkpad has convinced me never to buy new again. I got a great computer for about one-fifth the price of a new one.It was very nicely packaged for shipping and even arrived one day earlier than promised.

Ordered two of these, and one was shipped with a Czech keyboard. Kinda interesting, however confusing to look at. Just going to swap in a US keyboard. However it would have been nice to have the correct product from the beginning.Overall fit and finish look nice, though, the charger that came with one of them looked a bit beat up but functions just fine. For a refurbished product they could pass as new. Batteries seem to be holding up good so far.UPDATE: One laptop screen developed a flicker and horizontal lines while I was setting it up for use on our network. The other proved to have a bad battery and would only hold a charge for about an hour and a half. Both were unboxed, plugged in, and allowed to download updates over night. Both were sent for exchange, guess we will see what we are dealt when the next batch shows up. Down graded to 2 stars from 4 since we had to decide to exchange or replace parts. Refurbished just doesn't mean what it used to I guess, either that, or standards have gotten so low to the point of only checking if the product turns on and has a clean install of windows.
