Feathered Parrot

1 of the tail feathers was broke off but it is still a cute bird.

This parrot looked horrible and arrived damaged. Styrofoam was showing under feathers that were broken. He eyes had called off. I needed it for a costume party the next day so I glued it back together. If I hadn't needed it right away, I would have returned it. I guess you get what you pay for. I was expecting something a little better though. I don't like having to fix items that are "new".

It is lightweight and colorful. I saw these at a Halloween store for the same price and in better condition. The tail was broke off the one i got and it kept slipping off my wifes sholder

That the parrot stayed on my shoulder and didn’t fall off.

This was OK. Got is as a gag gift, but the elastic broke almost immediately and the eyes started coming off. For a single day use, it will do the job and it was cheap, so I wasn't totally looking for top quality, but to last longer than an hour isn't asking too muck, I don't think.

This item was exactly what we needed to complete my teen son's duct tape pirate costume. Yes, I said duct tape. We searched high and low and could not find any "cheap" parrot that we didn't mind covering in duct tape. Voila, Amazon to the rescue. However, let me say that this would be a perfect costume accompaniment to a normal pirate costume. It has ties that fit and would hold well over various size shoulders. It is very colorful and as my daughter says, the eyes are eerily real looking. We did cover ours in duct tape, but it did not find it's way into the trash can after the duct tape event. It is now a room fixture. I would purchase another one if I ever had a reason to.

I wasn't going for high quality, but I was shocked it stayed together after being worn by my, um, clumsy husband for our 1 year old's pirate party. So between kids wanting to pet it and my husband wearing it, it still looks great! It's pretty minimal though, styrofoam with colored feathers glued on but it looks GREAT from a distance. Fooled all of my co-workers into thinking it was real, ALL of them. Awesome times. Just buy it.

My nephew LOVES pirates so for his 4th birthday, he was having a "Pirate" party. My sister assembled the rest of his costume & I ordered this parrot. We live long-distance, so I never got to see the bird myself, but my sister's feedback was that it was pretty 'pitiful'. It would not clip onto his shoulder and ended up being more of a bummer at the party than anything. As a result, he was very sad that he did not get to wear it! I can't speak to the item's quality if it were used for an adult costume, but for a 4-year old, it was a bust. I don't think they should have a photo of a kid for the advertisement, but since I wasn't there to receive the bird I don't have another to post... just beware!
