I've been using this product for many years and will continue. Some of the problems and complaints I read here can be easily corrected and I will try to make the experience correctible and simple. Here's my procedure: (Making the drink by mixing with a spoon is a futile effort).1. Start with a container such as a cocktail shaker or a jar with sealable cap. 2. Select a non-carbonated tasty drink and prepare a supply for future use; place a few fluid ounces of the beverage in the container. 3. Add the amount of husks powder you choose to take. 4. Add a sufficient amount of tap water to make your drink. 5. Cover the container or shaker and shake as you would a cocktail. (Be sure to use a non-carbonated beverage).6. Without hesitation, drink the entire amount, which has been completely mixed with no clumps. 7. Clean everything with HOT tap water. Notice no residue. Problems solved??? P.S. The three-pack Yerba Prima Psyllium Husks Powder from Amazon is the best deal I have found.

I’ve suffered from hemorrhoids, constipation and occasional diarrhea since my 20s. (Thanks for the excellent genetics, Dad!) Now in my 50s, I’ve had enough of it all and wanted to make lifestyle changes. I had taken Miralax for years, and it worked for me, but my dr. said to try to get off of it. So toward that end, I bought this to try. Yes, it gives me occasional howitser style gas each day, but it isn’t uncomfortable or painful belly gas-you just have to pfffffft sometimes!Yes it thickens fairly quickly. I use an empty 8oz water bottle with cap, fill a quarter way with apple juice, put in a teaspoon of psyllium powder and shake. You can drink immediately or today I waited 5 minutes and it was like drinking loose applesauce. Not bad! The powder doesn’t dissolve. You can feel the grit as you drink. But it’s certainly pallateable. Then I follow with breakfast, which includes more fluids-a small glass of green smoothie and a cup of coffee or tea.I’ve been producing movements that are easy to pass and, um.. no cleanup required afterwards? I know, TMI, but you are reading a review of fiber powder so you might be interested to know!

Takeit and LIVE again. Use a paper cup! don't use a glass - therewill always be just a bit left in the glass and you don't wantthat in your sink drain (it will clog it!). Use disposable papercups only. I use 9oz cups. Also my blood sugar levels (notdiabetic mind you) FEEL much more level throughout theday and less hunger. --- More solid #2 (tmi) and not sofrequent. Better than metamucil with all it's artificialcolors and sugar or artificial sugars (no thanks). >>> Do this8 oz water in Paper cup / measure it out/put it in cup stir quicklyand drink immediately. NO flavor. I'd use the capsules for travel,but I don't travel. ;) That's my review.

I am new to using fiber supplements so here goes.Works well low bloatingJust make sure you drink enough water wow you don’t want to mess up on that one!Texture and flavor well it’s fiber so vile lol.But my doc says I have to consume 30mg a day so...fiber it is.I found juice just doesn’t do enough so I throw it in a magic bullet with some milk and protein powder blend it and chug because if I let it rest it is like 1/2 dissolved gelatin on steroids and just no way I hell I can choke it down.If your new to using fiber supplements like me just remember to take the water consumption guides seriously. I only messed up on that once but umm yeah I was constipated and miserable for 2 days.

I swear by this stuff. I put a heaping spoonful in a 22 oz. of water w/ a tablespoon of ACV every morning. While this bit is TMI, I am able to achieve clean poos (that is NOT an oxymoron)! You too can achieve less to zero messy poos by consuming psyllium husk daily. I live by it and I am not embarrassed to share my experience with friends and family. Yes, it tastes like cardboard but honestly, I don't drink it to savoir the flavor - I drink it purely for the poo and other health affects.
