Really good read and easy to understand if you never done banking or accounting before. Simple layout and description is really good. You would have to keep up to date with modern technology though. Would recommend if you’re looking to get into banking or accounts yourself.

I was expecting to find a book about accounting so it could help me with my accounting course in university. But I didn't find it useful because it explains and defines only the basic concepts with some simple examples and no exercises at all, and it would be perfect for someone who has no information about Accounting. As for delivery, Amazon remains the best.

This is an excellent text. Was a little out off by some reviews, but since receiving it this has been a go to book.I also use a computer accounting system which is not Sage (book uses this software as it’s explanatory application) and I am still very easily able to work through the explanations and examples.I think experienced professional may find the explanations far to basic but if you are starting out or wishing to get an understanding of book keeping and accounting this book is for you.
