Fits my style
Art is subjective, and sometimes art supplies are, too. As a watercolor artist, I have tried many different brands of paper. I love the Baohong 100% cotton "grain fin" cold pressed paper the best. It has just the right texture and feel for me.

Very close in quality to Arches
I have been pleasantly surprised at the quality of these watercolor paper blocks. For the money they are amazing. I know someone has complained about not being able to get their palette knife through the glue on the edge of the block but I have had no problem with that. I would rather have sufficient glue than have the paper buckle and ruin my painting. My one ‘wish’ is that they would offer a larger size block on Amazon: 10x14, 12x16, etc. Thank you for a high quality block at a reasonable price!

As Good as Arches
Excellent watercolour paper. Holds water well. Good pigment coverage. Even texturizing. Block is tightly glued and resisted warping under wet-on-wet work. One small issue with provided tool for separating the paper. It’s clunky and tears the paper plus it leaves dark marks on the next sheet.

These are quality at a bargain!
I can’t rave enough about this paper. After using them for a week I ordered more. And did I say that the price is right? 🥰

Directions on how to open horrible
Paper qualities are good. Unfortunately, the paper edges are wrapped in a film and the directions are horrible on how to remove. I tore most of the paper attempting to remove the film. Would not recommend.

Too much glue on the edges of the block and I found the texture too coarse.
I could not get my palette knife through the heavy glue at the edges to remove a finished page from the block. I fould the texture too coarse as well.
