Q: Can you use this as a car vinyl wrap?

I have applied it to the inside and outside of the glass on vehicles and it works great standing up to cold winters and very warm summers. I have not applied it to painted surfaces that may have been waxed etc.

Q: Would this work for making shadow stencils for hanging tools on a steel pegboard? Thanks!

I would think so. I stuck it on a glossy lacquered wood podium and it held great. Granted, it wasn't on for a long time, but I would think if it was cleaned well prior to applying, it would hold.

Q: Does it stick to metal

Yes. I would not leave it in direct sun outdoors through the summer. I had this on a metal address sign and during the summer it scorched and turned black but held on.

Q: Can this be applied over a chrome strip that’s along the exterior of a car?

Yes, it’s 651 vinyl can be used outdoors or car trim
