Ah the Amazing Exia, such a neat gunpla with flaws
Ah the Amazing Exia, such a neat gunpla with flaws. If you have an Exia or have built one, you will be familiar with the build of the Amazing Exia as it uses Exia runners and its Repair 2 variant. The backpack however is nice and adds flair to the model. Articulation is good too with a lot of movement. The GN Blade is placed nice and snugly to the arm thanks to its two connections. The extra wings the Amazing Exia can use as blades are really nice though losing on the ability of it holding the GN Blade is a bit saddening. Though, the compliments are done there. The other accessories are very subpar, the shield it can wield has very limited mobility and has a quite unstable connection to the arm, more often than not it will fall at the smallest movement. The separate sword the Amazing Exia has a connector to the waist of the gunpla but that connection proves to be very weak as even apply the smallest of breeze can knock it out of its position and the Amazing Exia cannot grab the sword correctly as it wiggles on the hand. There's a pair of pieces on the torso that personally peeve me since they are connected to the arm connection, meaning that those pieces of armor move according to arm movement. This would not be an issue if the connection there was nice and strong, but it is not, rather it is very odd placing it in that you feel like you haven't really put it in correctly and falls off rather quickly. I would give this a 3.5 but I cannot so four stars seems fine.tl;dr version: You like the Exia and can handle this gunpla's quirks while being a bit strapped for cash? Get this. The quirks are too glaring to want this? Wait until the Master Grade comes out, perhaps there are solved there. Quirks break it for you but don't have cash for the MG? Try another gunpla.

So nice
Really loved this build after it was finished..aside from the extremely foreign hip/waist set up,out of five hgs and one mg I have never encountered a torso that was just a peg and no ball cap,and the hips weren't so bad aside from being a little too swively for great poseability although it's not at all bad for posing. But they were different to me than any other build I've done. Really, this model is gorgeous when it's built. I would still recommend this model, and definitely recommend seller. Arrived on June 13th was expected to come June 29th-July something. Wonderful shipping speed.

Meijin Kawaguchi, Amazing Exia, Let's go!
The Exia is in my top 5 favourite Gundam units. Behind the Deathscythe=Hell and a few others, so when I say this kit was a ruddy pain in the arse to throw together... well you get the picture. This is the first kit I've ever had to DISASSEMBLE while building because the instructions were unclear. At one point I was tempted to call it a peice of crap and use it as spare parts for my Exia RII, but I finished it out and fixed the issues I'd been having. The last time I had this much trouble building a kit was the no grade F90 Type-V. Even then, some parts don't hold together well, and the booster (which is removable, yay) makes the balance suddenly go out the crapper.OK, enough complaints, on to the main event. So the Exia amazing, out of the box, comes with one GN Blade II (Exia repair 2) and one original GN blade (Exia) [both can be placed in either sword hilt (comes with 2) or the standard beam blaster spot like the original had], 2 beam sabre blades (flat end type), the amazing shield, and the Amazing Trans-Am Booster. The booster's wings become blades, and there are 2 extra backs for the GN drive link space. Really a decent kit when it's not being an infuriating piece of rubbish.

Great build but needs some painting
I got this last Wednesday I just finished today. This was a fun build and I did paint all by hand (Tamyia gunmetal, sliver, and clear green) I didn't use any of the stickers (not all of them and there are ones that are needed but not included). So either way you will still have some painting to do.

Amazing Exia Amazing Review.
Was really reluctant on buying a 1/144 scale but Amazing Exia looked too "Amazing" not to get. Compared to my other previous 1/144 kits Amazing Exia is surprisingly good. It has nice articulation all around aside from the forearm compared to it's older Gundam 00 1/144 but it still poses nicely. Has a few interchangeable pieces such as shoulder armor and spare hilt if you want to go dual-wield. Unfortunately it's a spare hilt with no secondary blade included. My only problem would be that one of the leg's "bending" is very loose compared to the other side so one of my kit's knee is pretty loose with no resistance to hold it in place so posing is a bit difficult. Other than that Amazing Exia is a beautiful Gundam with minor flaws and I'll definitely get a 1/100 scale if they ever release it in the future.

pretty good little kit
Not a bad little build fighters kit. Easy to build but kinda finnicky with all the plastic that hangs off the back. Price was good.

It is definitely a awesome kit. Of course it would take sometime to build if you want to make it look good. But overall, it is a awesome gunpla and one of my favorite!

Visually stunning!
This kit looks amazing for starters, I love Gundam 00, and Meijin Kawaguchi III, and this model is the best of both worlds. The kit has some of my least favorite construction decisions however. I can only recommend this as a shelf piece. The joints are loose, the construction is not great for posing options, the hands are weak I basically only use this kit as parts for other kits. I can't recommend this, as much as it hurts to say it.
