Even my son enjoyed watching her transform. The water is pretty too. It does has small pieces including the hair that clips into the head. Ither than that fun for all ages (adults and myself included)!

I bought two for my 4 yr old godchild. She was so excited and loved the reveal of the first one she opened with her dad. But..... the second reveal was so disappointing because it was the exact SAME one.I purchased them at the same time and didn't think that this would happen. I guess I thought, from the manufacturer standpoint, there would be a way to help distinguish the different styles for retailers to sell more than 1 doll at a time, if you wanted to ensure diversity.I would get her another one but I am worried she will get the exact same one again...We played it off to her by saying her dolls were identical twins... Hahaha. But I don't want her to have to meet the "lost triplet" next time around.

My 4 year old loves Chelsea, creates whole worlds for this little doll and all of her friends and gives them all names like Cherry and Lemony. She loves the color reveal bc of the surprises, which include the tiny accessories that seem to find their way under my feet everyone as I'm walking to the bathroom. I'm not a huge fan of the weird little pony tail clip in but see why they have to do it that way. Honestly, if you have a little one who loves Barbie and Chelsea then they'll love this.

I did not realize this was a boy. Based on the description thought it was a girl, but the pick does seem to show a boy next to the container. She liked it only a tad upset it wasn't a girl, but that could have been a "me" fail.

My grand daughter loves it. Gave it to her for her birthday. The kids loved watching the color change
