Pigeon Approved!
I have my juvenile crested gecko Pigeon in a 12x12x18 Exo Terra tall tank, and this hood was exactly what I needed 🙌🏼 The hood itself is 14” so it hangs over a bit on both sides, but the bulb is 12” so it’s perfect. Pigeon’s appetite has improved and they seem more active! The bulb is holding up so far 🤞🏼 It’s recommended to change them every 6 months anyway, so either way I’ll be getting a new one eventually lol as far as I can feel there’s no heat output from the bulb itself, the hood gets a bit warm after being on 12 hours, but that’s expected. Definitely works well for my crestie!

Good light combo
It came very well packaged and wasn’t damaged at all. The downfall was I didn’t realize I needed a different bulb before hand and had to order the right bulb after it arrived. Overall I think it was a good price for what you get and it arrived quickly.
