En general es un buen, se ve resistente, sirve para lo que fué hecho y es barato.PERO...NO LO RECOMIENDO SI LO QUIEREN PARA ESTARLO PONIENDO Y QUITANDO. El producto está hecho para Estados Unidos donde no te roban pero aquí en México hay que estarlo quitando y poniendo cada ves.ATENCIÓN: NO COMPRAR EL CANDADO: "Master Lock 2866DAT 1/2 in. and 5/8 in. Swivel Head Receiver Lock for Class I-IV, 1 Pack, Black" CON ESTE ARTICULO como vine recomendado en la publicación de aquí de Amazon, no funciona ya que oara que el Rack quede firme tiene que ser instalado con el tornillo que viene en el rack, es un tornillo especial con 2 niveles de grosor que hacen que el rack quede presionado internamente en el agujero del jalón.El rack por si solo tiene demasiado juego dentro del agujero del jalón por lo que usarlo con otro tornillo o con el candado Master Lock antes mencionado no es posible.Es una lata estar cargando matraca y perica para todos lados para poder estarlo poniendo y quitando, la tuerca es de seguridad y pronto se va a vencer la rosca interna y va a dejar de apretar, REPITO: ESTE RACK ESTÁ DISEÑADO PARA MONTARSE Y AHÍ DEJARSE, no lo hubiera comprado de haber sabido esto antes.Espero le sirva a alguien para saber las implicaciones de estarlo instalando y desinstalando diario.

Really pleased with this bike rack. Wasn't sure what all was included or how it all worked in detail, but was surprised to know that this product had some real thought put into it.It has a locking mechanism built into where it mounts in the hitch receiver which 1) locks the carrier to the hitch and 2) expands within the hitch making for a tight secure fit.Thinking about the fact that this carrier saved me from buying a locking hitch pin for ~$20, the $100 I paid made it a steal compared to any other carrier at the time.The only critiques would just be that the straps used to secure the bikes aren't the easiest/quickest on the market, and the tilting motion (of the vertical post to access the hatch) does not go down far enough for my 1st generation CRV's hatch/tailgate to open as it swings sideways. The top glass portion does clear however. Any hatch that swings up like a conventional van or SUV should be fine though. On the plus side, it prevents bikes from tilting too far down and either hitting something or being too heavy to lift back up.Overall, good build quality, hefty, the cotter/hitch pins used to fold the carrier are linked together and connected to the carrier with wire (impossible to lose any of the pins).

I really like it. It’s just what I need. I love the hitch lock very much, too. However, the welds are not very good. I’m a pro welder. I can see undercuts, craters and uneven welds. If I worked for this company I would do a much better job. I do not think the welds will break but I will check them once a year. If it happens I will fix just by myself. Another small issue is that the rack shakes a little bit no matter how hard u tighten the screws. I will try to add washers to reduce the shaking. Not a real problem anyway. It’s probably still the best product on the market.

Assembly is quite easy, I like the design after the installation. But I got trouble when i was removing it from the hitch.The spring pin was stuck, i was unable to push it in. It costed me 50 bucks to ask help in an automotive shop to do the job.After it's been removed, i figured out that i received a defective item. The pin hole is not fully drilled with the chip on which caused the pin stuck. See attached pic.Please check the hole before you install it.

I’m giving 3 stars because I was disappointed with the product when I put three bikes on the hitch. The space between bikes are very tight and difficult to accommodate it on the support. However, the product is very good and also good quality and easy to assemble. Knowing this, if you are going to put 3 bikes I recommend to buy one support for 5 bikes.
