Got this knife so I could have a piece of junk i could not care about and what I got was of surprising quality. It's very sharp, holds an edge well, is light weight and fairly durable. As a professional chef I highly recommend this knife .

The knife seems to be well made. Edges of the blade are very squared off and are almost sharp. I used my sharping stone to round them off, to make the blade nicer to hold and easier on the hands. I also put a razor sharp edge on the blade and its held up well with everything I have cut from veggies to meat. Very happy with my purchase and cannot beat the price.

i really did like the knife, but it was so uncomfortable to use a knife of this size with the handle befitting a knife one third the size... the entire handle felt like a hot spot. and the knife did not come well sharpened... look elsewhere.

Its very sharp from the git go, right out of the blister packaging whick I might add is very hard to open! it slices dices as good as my victorinox chef knife only its way cheaper I use it to break through the cartillage breast bones of chicken, save my victorinox for the slicing and dicing, you need 2 chefs knives in a kitchen. My forstcher victorinox is my regular chefs knife but this one is my all round go to
