I am giving these a lower rating for two main reasons. One the designs on the pen are wearing off after only a month of use. Two and most important is that the ink stops running periodically and you have to write for a few seconds to get it going again. This frequently happens in the middle of writing. I won't be buying these again as I found a better quality product.

Very disappointed upon receiving these pens. Yes the outside is pretty but they are very cheap. I thought these were gel pens (as in the description) and would write a little thick....no...they are more like very, very thin ball points. I tried writing with each one and the inks are different colours but make a super thin line and the ink comes out patchy. The pen tips are so thin (like a needle), I know they will all break in no time. In my opinion they aren't worth $5, let alone $12. Would return if not meant to be part of a Christmas gift.

Was really looking forward to this set. The Pens are easy to hold however some of the pens don't have proper flow of ink and hence don't write well. Disappointed as the ones that work are actually pretty neat. Would have returned it however they dont have a return policy.

These pens could be the worst pens I've ever purchased. The colours don't match the lids. Most of the lids don't even open and they don't even write smoothly it's as if they're old. I can't even get a refund for a product that is useless.

I really got carried away by the design of pens and colour...So cute..The only down point is that when you start writing at first, they do cause some friction, but as you keep writing down, it gradually slows down. Also, few of them work properly. I would have given 4 stars if all could have worked properly.
