Lamy Vista Fountain Pen (12M) Transparent & 5 Black Ink Cartridges

A pleasure to write with, well balanced and stylish.

I grew up using fountain pens in school. Some of my previous Lamy's have been around for over 30 years and have survived a lot of abuse. This Lamy Vista is a great writing tool, lets you see what is going on inside the pen, while the interchangeable Lamy nibs let you get the proper nib for your handwriting style. Very sturdy, great writing implements. I did buy the converter as I prefer bottle ink to ink cartridges, so be aware this is an option. Lamy fountain pens come with cartridges that are specific to the Lamy brand and not interchangeable with other fountain pens.

I was looking for a nice pen to keep at my desk so I wouldn't need to keep grabbing different ones and this is perfect. Looks very clean and writes beautifully. Should note that the refills are black, but the cartridge it was loaded with was blue.

I have started quite a pen collection and the Lamy pens are some of my favorites. It’s a smooth writer. Lays down a consistent line and feels great in the hand. I’m still on the cartridges, once I put a converter in, that may change. The fact that it is clear is great!
