Run a floral shop with the Barbie® florist doll and playset!

Barbie - You can be anything. This time Barbie is a florist. This is another Barbie set with accessories including interactive parts where you can make flowers using the supplied "Barbie Dough". In this set you get:* A Barbie doll - with florist dress/apron. The apron doesn't detach from the dress. She also has sensible, white, flat shoes and a pink hairband, and non-jointed elbows and knees as per most Barbies. She also can't hold any parts of the set (except the dough which you could stick to her).* A florist stand - includes a flip desk part on one side (which also pushes the dough through molds), a part to hold your pots in the middle securely (so that the dough can be pushed through correctly), and a rose mold on the other side that you can use to make flowers from the dough.* Two tubs of Barbie Dough containing coloured dough - pink, green and yellow.* Two pots to make flowers with when you push dough through the gaps. One pot comes with a lid to push down the dough and return nice looking flower heads.* A couple of pots (attached to each other) to put your finished flowers in.* A cleaning tool for scrapping off the dough at the end of play. This also can hang on the side of the florist stand.* A pink teddy (just because why not).This is a cool toy, if a little messy. The interactivity is good and is something kids can engage with. It is satisfying watching the dough go through the molds to make flowers. The finished flowers look good too. The dough will need replacing with repeated use though and the set is compatible with other doughs. Also you can get different colour doughs separately to make even more different flowers. The cleaning part is obviously not something kids necessarily like or want to do so this may be something the adult needs to do. Also, it would also have been good if the apron could come off the dress, and if the apron pockets were real pockets. The bear could then sit inside one of them.This is a little more more expensive than a basic Barbie such as in the Fashionistas range but that’s because of the host of accessories that come with the set. I've also seen a version of this set with a brunette doll although this may not be available in the UK?Overall 5/5 because my daughter loves Barbies.

My daughter loves this. We have had a few barbie accessories and dolls and this is one of her favourites. Considering you get the doll and accessories for under twenty pounds it’s good value. Good quality toys that are durable and will last years. Hair that can be styled. Lots of small items included so may need a box to keep them safe. Love the little detail you get with the florist pack. A very happy daughter who gives it two thumbs up when I asked her what she thought of it.

Another good Barbie set for lovers of all thing Barbie. The lady herself is presented as a florist in this particular set, both in her attire as well as the included floral display/small workshop with little floral arrangements and other associated items. It all looks rather nice and good to see Barbie doing a different activity that doesn't revolve around lying on a beach or in a speedboat!

My girl loved playing shops with her other dolls really got they Imagination going.There are plenty of accessories in this play set and the attention to detail is just perfect.There is so much to do and it is lovely for role play.The whole set is very colourful and it is very sturdy also.

Probably not winning any avoidance of gender stereotyping prizes any time soon, this Barbie florist set is nevertheless a pretty substantial toy for the money with a good selection of accessories. Only the one outfit mind (I am a bloke, but isn't dressing up the point of Barbie?) It's fairly solidly made too. Not exactly a pocket money toy but not ridiculously expensive this one falls somewhere in between - perhaps the sort of thing a kid might buy themselves with birthday/Xmas money.

My oldest daughter, she is 9, and she loves playing with Barbies. It is a great product quality, sturdy and durable. Easy for her to play. Beautiful colours and accessories. Perfect for her collection.

As I understand it from the cryptic instructions on the back, you take the coloured dough and using the dies make it into flowers (pictured on card in the box). In theory you could get more dough or make something with modelling clay. The enclosed dough can apparently get mushed into the carpet. The apron and tools are part of the dress printing, so there’s a bit of play value lost there. The cart is fairly big.

This set is adorable. Station makes flowers with play doh. Easy to use and makes really cute flowers. Also could add other play doh colors if wanted. Was the biggest hit of the presents at the party. Originally got it for a great price not sure what it's selling for now. But either way would be worth the money. This is especially great with the recent Barbie movie coming out.
