Grandstream GS-GXP2124 Enterprise 4-Line HD IP Desk/VoIP Phone and Devices

So before I review the phone, there's something you should understand about this purchase, in laymans terms. This phone works off of what's called SIP. You need a SIP provider to use this. Google Voice will not work directly from this on a router. But, if you are a google voice fanatic, there's a way you can make it work for pennies, literally pennies.The way I did it was to use a service called Anveo. I think incoming calls are free and outgoing costs a penny a minute domestically.So the phone: This phone has an amazing quality to it. The speakerphone is spot on, and once I understood how to set it up, its' set up is very easy.The backlit display offers a look at weather, stocks, and other info. Easy to read, big screen.If you go to the ip address listed on teh phone you can find places to change the contrast and brightness of the screen. Almost everything is customizable on this phone from within the ip address that's listed right on the screen.

I have 4 other Grandstreams that work great, I bought this one to use for my receptionist and it's working I'm just not sure how it's that much different than my other phones that were much cheaper. It's 4line, and has a few more features, but I guess I haven't fully realized what makes it "enterprise". Could just be me. I think Grandstream is a great bang for your buck though, all 5 are working great and cheaper than Cisco, et.c

I have several IP Phones, what I like from this one is the clear voice and the switchSCR button where You can see the weather and even add another currencies like MXN to see the exchange rate updated every day.Transfering is easier than in another phones.I do not know if the screen has a paremeter to dim it, or a sleep mode.Great price for the features.

The configuration on this is a bit cryptic and instructions could be better, but once it is done, it works pretty well. I will say that using the computer to access the phone via IP address makes matters much easier, but that of course only works once you get the IP set up and on the phone. Sound quality is good and the handset is comfortable against the ear.

Works very well and robust (don't have to power cycle at all). Configured with 4 extensions (lines) and switching between them (putting a call on hold, accepting another incoming call, or making an outbound call while another line is on hold) is seamless. I especially like the currency rate web/phone application and for those stock junkies, they will probably appreciate the stock app too. Call quality is good (HD voice on this unit is better than HD voice on the Yealink T26P which I also have).Also the web interface is feature rich but well organized.Note that the WAN/LAN ports are GigE!!!!All in all I intend to get another one soon.

Although these phones look like a QUALITY phone, they are actually pretty good piece of crap. The displays go out after about a year of use. If you activate a DO NOT DISTURB (DND) on the phone, good luck trying to remember. It'll usually be days before you realize its the DND that you're not getting calls. The only phone I've ever seen that doesn't have a DND ACTIVE indicator on the phone. We created tags that are tapped to the phone that we have to remember to flip over the display when we do the DND. At least it looks like a decent phone when sitting on the desk. Most VOIP phones look like kids toys.

Great deal on a used item. Works a charm.

Great quality sound, especially the speaker phone. All the features you want in a desk top office phone (multi-line, works with multi-extensions, caller ID, etc.) and a cool color display. This is a VOIP phone.

Nach ein paar Umwegen habe ich das GXP-2124 an meiner Fritzbox zum laufen bekommen.Die deutsche Bedieneroberfläche enthält einige seltsame Wörter weshalb ich das Telefon in Englisch betreibe.Tante Google findet sie einschlägigen Foren und Anleitungen.Insgesamt bin ich zufrieden, hätte mir den Weg dahin aber leichter vorgestellt.

Schnelle Lieferung, Ware kam unbeschädigt an. Leider funktionierte das Telefon nicht mit meiner Telefonanlage. Deswegen Retoure. Leider. Dieser Artikel funktioniert nicht mit einer Fritz Box.
