Install took about 45mins. I am an aircraft mechanic so maybe 2-2.5 for someone not mechanically inclined. There’s YouTube videos all over that give complete and exact directions that are easy to follow. Started right up first try. I have a single AC car and this kit was perfect for it. Heat and AC works first try. Only thing I didn’t do was mount and try the mic. Unit is very responsive. CarPlay started syncing immediately when I clicked on the bluetooth on my phone. Took a good second to load but works seamlessly just like it does on my 18 BMW. Music sounds 1000000000x better especially when you mess with the equalizer. Fit is great except for the box on the bottom. Opening and closing the lid it catches on the bottom of the unit but not where you can see it. Dimming works with your headlight switch. GPS worked great. Haven’t tried the USB’s yet but I’m sure they work fine. Very responsive to touch and commands work immediately as they do on my factory equipped BMW screen. Picture quality is pretty good too. Overall, I’m pretty happy with this purchase, especially since I got for just under $200 with reward points and prime day deal. Worth every penny so far. If anything changes I’ll update here.

This worked for about six weeks. I purchased this primarily for the Android auto integration and Bluetooth upgrade. The install was very easy thanks to how Honda designed these cars. After a few weeks I figured out the right combination of apps to get Android auto working 75% of the time. I also had to leave the plastic screen cover on because this will not work with polarized sun glasses if you remove it.At the six week mark the climate controls stopped responding. I disassembled the dash and hooked up the OEM climate controls and everything worked immediately. I then hooked up the OEM cables directly to this product and the fan started but the buttons didn't do anything. At this point I believe this products controls are defective.I cannot imagine what I would have done if I had been traveling in extreme heat or needed my defrost. This is a safety issue and I would recommend you not put yourself in that situation. It's a sub-par product with limited upside and high probability to put yourself in a dangerous situation.Do not purchase!

Excellent head unit that helps modernize your vehicle! I purchased this for a project vehicle that had no OEM head unit when it showed up (I’m assuming it had something similar to this radio) after spending two months looking at other products I went with this one because the price was good and it had consistent reviews despite the bad ones. It does come with most of the bells and whistles the instructions were extremely limited in my case this was not plug and play and took about a month of off and on scrolling through settings to finally dial it in correctly in total probably 3-4 hours so if you are discouraged don’t be here is all you need to know. Factory setting code 000000 you access and enter code in car settings make sure you link Wi-Fi (I used personal hotspot on my phone) run the CAN update if needed (I had too) I originally chose the generation and AC system I had in my vehicle it didn’t work but after going through multiple CAN set ups for 7th Gen Honda Accord I eventually did find the right one for dual climate. While I was in car settings I went to ac display and switched it from closed to open now I have quick access on my Home Screen with a little fan icon and touch screen capability operating all AC controls. Next for sound all the speakers were not working twetters up front and rears worked doors and mids didn’t there’s a separate plug for those in the factory harness that does not have a adapter with the kit the harness with video and audio connections on it is the right one just not plug and play so I got a female plug from the junkyard and with the wiring diagram for my speakers spliced soldered and shrink wraped to make a custom one that looks factory (wire nuts, quick connects,and electrical tape will all work) I also spliced my factory gps to the harness provided and it works 50x better then tucking it under the dash. Amazing unit for the price it does take patience and a little bit of work but once it’s dialed in it’s great. I plan on adding a video and photos for others running into problems for me when I got to lost or changed to many settings I just reset the unit and tried again and I also removed z link so I don’t have any problems with the Bluetooth now connects immediately when I turn on car and disconnects instantly when I shut off Bluetooth on my phone same for having others connect there phone.
