A better read every time
My grandmother read this in the 1920's when she was a child and then to my mother. My mother read it to me when I was a child. When I read it myself years later, it read differently but in a better way (lumps in my throat for knowing). Reading it again now, I see so much likeness to Judy as to women today, with the exception of voters rights. I love Judy's sarcasm, and appreciate Jean Webster for writing a character like her.

Good story, wrong pictures
I really liked this story, very cute. However, the illustrations have nothing to do with the story and are completely different from the ones in my Kindle version.

Daddy Long Legs
I enjoyed this book from the very beginning. I had a feeling there would be a twist at the end. I wasn’t disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed this story.

Lovely story
I read this book many years ago when I was very young and I loved it. The story was made into a movie, and I didn't like the movie nearly as well as the movie. I enjoyed reading it nearly as much this time as I did the first time in spite of the fact that I knew the plot. I would definitely recommend it.

Useable copy
Odd pictures that don’t go with anything in the story and odd ads interspersed within the story. Otherwise the book is fine.
