I have been using Black Seed oil or in some reference’s Oil of the Blessed Seed (زيت حبة البركة) for more than 20 years and this is truly one of the best. To address some of the people with complaints about color and taste, the color range of Black seed oil can vary. It does not necessarily have to be black to be high quality. This color depends on factors like the source of the seeds, the extraction method for the seeds and the function of refinement. Thereby, it maybe Amber in color, black in color, or lighter. The variation of color is not necessarily a direct correlation to efficacy or quality.As for the taste, Black Seed Oil Black seed oil is known for its characteristic bitter taste and spicy sensation in the throat, attributed to the presence of thymoquinone (TQ) and thymohydroquinone (THQ). If I had an ostensible black seed oil that was sweet, I would then question its dilution with other liquids or sweeteners. The healing is in the bitter. I just received this today and took my first spoonful. To me, it tastes remarkably like oregano oil. I regularly take oregano oil, so I'm curious about this flavor. Since this is my first experience with black seed oil, I'm not sure what it’s supposed to taste like, but the similarity to oregano is quite noticeable.

Definitely not the color is should be ~ to be what it's supposed to be..... Very disappointed "black seed oil" .... And it's yellow!! ??I'm scared to take it now .......
