My gym has the most fresh air. I've found that cleaning with water makes so much sense, no filters to buy, just plain water. Essential oils don't last but you can add drops as you please.For the price, this is definitely great for living rooms, gyms, sewing room (where clean Air and no dust is so important), etc... When I pull the top off, the gecko stops, eliminating hazards. The top is very clean and easy to clean as well.Common sense is you will clean the bowl with each water change and the 3 drops of bleach keeps the cleaned air fresh and sanitary.I live in the desert where it's very dusty, I only need water as a filter for my cleaning machine is in 3 rooms. Water sucks out every bit of dust and dust mites as well as corona 19 or any other type of covid there is in the air.Who would have thought WATER AND NO MORE EXPENSIVE FILTER BUYING which a plain filter doesn't get a lot of dust anyway.

Works well. A little loud, but if you want white noise, this is prefect. Blue light inside is very bright, even for a night night. No way to remove to cover the light.

The main focus is does it do what’s it’s supposed to YES it does suck the stale odors right out of a room even with out the fragrance added, so with that in mind the scents you add in only last maybe the first 20 mins or less, this is my 2nd purchase for this item with that said pay attention how to properly clean this machine because that’s where I went wrong my first time around I didn’t read the care instructions and assumed it didn’t come apart so I only ever cleaned the exterior and the top the best I could with out getting everything wet inside electronically wise and I did indeed burn the motor out due to my lack of knowledge if your nose sensitive like me this will save your life!

Didn't clean air. The water remain clear and had to refill every 2 days. Real ones ,change water in 2 weeks and water is dirty. This is extremely loud with a light. The older models actually cleaned the air quietly.

I bought this to replace my rain mate. My boyfriend ruined my rain mate which was a 200$ machine by putting the bottom in the dishwasher.I couldn’t afford to replace it and decided to give this one a try. It holds it own next the the expensive rainmate. With the leaf looking top it looks so much better than my last one.We have this in our kitchen which is an open concept with my living room and the scent carries to both areas.

I ordered this to replace one that broke. They looked the same, however, this one is really noisy. I put a towel under it to muffle the sound but it is still loud.

This is not your typical air refresher application. I got the EcoGecko as a test unit to clear the air in my apartment of aerosol freshener residue. Products such as Febreze cause me to break out in facial rashes with overly puffy eyes. My skin would burn and sting and wake me up several times a night from the itch.This unit takes a half gallon of water at maximum level to which I added a 1/4 cup of filtered apple cider vinegar. Oddly enough, regular vinegar doesn't work as well and smells worse. The vinegar water mixture neutralizes the offending VOCs. My building has been made airtight, residents smoke and try to mask other odors with air fresheners.The successful test of the EcoGecko justified the purchase of the Boneco W300, and air refresher and humidifier. Same principle. I now use the EcoGecko in the kitchen and the bathroom.If it weren't for this unit I would have been forced to move out because of physical discomfort and frequent doctor visits and prescriptions.
