Extremely happy I purchased this and got my tiny knife collection out of a cluttered drawer! For safety reasons and to gain more drawer space for other cooking utensils. Easy to install, magnet is strong! Has an easy way of releasing the knives when you want to use them too! I was a little worried about that, but it works beautifully every time! I feel so much better knowing I'm not reaching in a drawer anymore! Goes well with the spice racks I installed and paper towel dispenser too! I have a small galley kitchen and space is at a premium. This simple magnetic strip has made my kitchen function 1,000 times better than it was! Crazy how something so simple makes all the difference in the world! Very happy with my purchase Thank You!

What can I say - but this is a bargain like no other! Thick stainless steel magnetic bar that holds your knives with GRIP! I don’t recommend getting any other bar. I got the 10 inch one because I don’t have that many knives. I am an enthusiast in the kitchen who doesn’t believe in having a huge set of knives.. I like keeping it simple.So I bought this product because I got tired of seeing my knives roll around a cabinet drawer. It’s unsafe and eventually your knives get scratched up and ugly. That also promotes damage to the inside of the drawer when it’s sliding back and forth. I figured this was a great solution vs a space-consuming old-school knife block which - by the way, is difficult and time consuming to clean. This is way safer, looks upscale and professional which makes people think you definitely know what you’re doing, and saves space like crazy!I recommend putting this in a space where you can access it easily but won’t get in the way of high movement or traffic. DON’T put this on the inside of a moving cabinet door, the knives can slip off if the surface of the knife is smoother or polished. If you have children, I recommend placing it up high, like eye-level instead of chest level.Overall it’s great! It’s the same material and color as expected, no corrosion. The backing plate came a little dented but you can’t see it so that’s okay with me. I used 3M indoor white double sided tape to stick onto the cabinet so I don’t damage it later in case I want to relocate the strip.

Works great with my knives. If you have a nice set of knives, it can also work as a decorative piece. The install was easy. It seems like a strong and well made product.

Great product, well constructed, looks to be very good quality. Purchased because of the name Gorilla brand. Had searched on Amazon site for adhesive, magnetic knife holders, and it showed in the search so believe it had an adhesive strip for wall mounting. Also, it was from gorilla grip who are known for those types of products. Very disappointed to find out that it did not come with a strip to return the unit then found a way to use a double edge, backing tape to safely attach the wall without drilling

This is the 3rd brand of magnetic knife strip I've tried out in the past month. The first two had wimpy magnets that could barely hold a fork, and one had a fake hardwood cover that is already wearing around the edges after barely 3 weeks of use.The 3rd time's the charm, though: THIS one is a keeper.* First and foremost, nice strong magnet that holds even my largest chef's knife securely.* Nice seamless stainless steel surface, easy to keep clean and sanitize.* Simplest mounting of any knife strip I've seen. You attach the metal plate to the wall with two screws, and the magnet sticks to the plate, and it's ready for use.No worrying about locating screws properly to fit in keyhole slots, or hoping double-stick tape won't let loose and drop your expensive knives into the sink.This is a great knife strip and I will likely buy a couple more in different lengths, for other applications. I can see using one of these in the shop, to hold a set of nut-drivers, or screwdrivers.

This was easy to install, and the magnet is very strong. Love it.
