Happy Birthday Orchestra Sound - blow out candles - Lights & Melody Pop Up Greeting Card

First, the product description includes a note that this product uses batteries, but does not say they are included. Reading the unfavorable reviews, I considered their problems might be related to stale batteries. I could not see any way to replace them without doing major damage to the card. Secondly the instructions could be better, particularly for the dominant, stubbornly monolingual American public. I simplified the instructions (push on the upper right where it says 'push' and when the music stops, blow on the golden grid in the middle to blow out the candles and turn it off.) and wrote in on the back of the instruction sheet. Third, the mechanism does protrude on the back and it looks very vulnerable to damage in the US Postal Service. I mailed the card, with the instructions in the yellow envelope, inside an outer padded envelope. Overall, it was working just fine when I sent it off.

This is an excellent little Card which does not disappoint! The Card is super easy to set up right out of the envelope and unlike some other musical cards, the "Happy Birthday" music doesn't go on forever and it's not too loud. You just Press or Squeeze the little Strawberry tab located on the card above the bear to the right to start the music. While the music plays the front four candles on the birthday cake blink alternately off and on in time to the music. When the music stops, all four birthday candles stay lit, even "quivering" a little like real candles. (-: This is when you blow at the circle you'll see in the middle of the card, to blow out the candles and make a wish! And it works! You really have to "puff" to do this so you might want to hang onto the card! Then right when you blow out the candles, you'll hear applause and cheering and I believe the words, "Happy Birthday" in Japanese. I Just Love It!!

Very cute. Music is loud. Lights flicker for a long time. It’s about a 30 second run. Feels high quality. My only issue is that it has a center spot that’s written in an Asian language. I don’t know what it says and you can’t cover or remove it. You just have to ignore it if it bothers you. My mother didn’t care. She loved the card amad showed everyone. She was loving the lights and how detailed the card was.

This card is truly unique. My three year old grand daughter loves playing with it well after her birthday. The only drawback is that the Happy Birthday lyrics are in Japanese not English. I had to explain to our little one what was being sung.

HANDS DOWN THIS IS THE CUTEST, MOST CREATIVE CARD EVER. MY DAUGHTER IS EIGHTEEN, QUITE MATURE, YET STILL SAID THIS IS THE CUTEST CARD SHE’S EVER SEEN. SHE LOVED EVERYTHING FROM THE CUTE CRITTERS, TO THE MUSIC, BLOWING OUT THE CANDLES, AND THE LIGHTS. Yes, it’s expensive, but this card does many, many creative & unique things. We have never seen a card like this. We love it!!!!! EXCEPTIONAL.

Makes the giver even happier than probably the receiver as shows thoughtfulness. However, the battery died a week after, but it served the purpose for the birthday

This card is truly fun! The band played and the candles flashed which was a lot of fun! The reason I do not give this a 5-star, is because it did not "blow" out the electronic candles and, "Happy Birthday" was recorded in Chinese. The card printed it in English, but not the audio portion. Still, it was a great card and very well received!

I don’t know if it’s because it’s a Japanese product and maybe imported but when I got it, the product was a bit wrinkled, especially the envelope and corners of the card. If you’re a stickler for presentation and would hate those things, maybe be careful with your purchase.It is cute and definitely love the music and little light effects but the handling was... handled poorly.Could have been a 10/10. Probably not recommend.

商品到着してから、触ってもいないし衝撃があるわけでもないのに2回位突然鳴り、返品手続きをしました。その日の夜中も突然鳴ってあまりにビックリして飛び起き、不眠症でやっと寝られたと思っていた主人もそれから寝られずかなり怒っていました…すぐ捨てたかったけどカードにしてはそれなりの値段なので集荷まで辛抱です…

孫が喜んでくれた　名前入りのカードが欲しかったが　コヨミの名前の設定が無く　こちらを選んだが　こっちの方が　変わっていて良かったかもしれない

子ども2人が1月と2月生まれ、そして92才の母が1月と、3つのこのカードをそれぞれ送りました。みんなすごく喜んでくれました。森の動物さんたちが♬おめでとうと　楽器を奏でてくれて夢のあるステキな作品ですね。来年も楽しみにしています。

吐き気して消える珍しさにとても喜びました。
