Really fun
Clear directions. My kids and I had great fun making them and having airplane flying contests.

A great choice for multigenerational gatherings of family and friends
There is a reference in the title of this project to "Easter gifts for boys," but there's nothing in this set that is Easter themed—or that is limited to boys. In fact, our granddaughter loves paper airplanes, which is why I requested this set via the Vine program for review.I'm giving this 5 stars because I'm a lifelong fan of paper folding kits in various formats. Over the years, we've built all kinds of things from paper kits with a bit of easy craft work. It's fun for people of all ages to gather around a table and help each other put these things together. This kit does come with a variety of shapes of planes, which is a fun part of flying them. Which one flies farthest? Highest? Dips up or down? The sleek ones or the wider ones? This definitely gives you lots of value for the money, in particular because the kit is designed so thoughtfully. Even the "box" around the colorful papers and instruction booklet is useful. It forms a "runway," which I show in a photograph. One thing you can do is compete to see who can toss and "land" a plane most accurately. The papers all are pre-marked and numbered along the folding lines, which we really appreciated. And the planes, when finished, are a nice size. I show 2 models in a photograph with my hand in the corner for scale. Here are a few helpful considerations as you consider whether to buy this set:-- Some of these plane styles are fairly easy and clever kids will be able to assemble them on their own.-- At least a couple of them involve a bit more complex manipulation of the paper and, for us, it took adult eyes and hands to finish them. (In fact, we're still puzzling over one last model that didn't come out quite as the instruction book shows.)-- The "pilot" stickers are a fun accessory, but you really don't need them and they don't stay on the planes if you're actually having fun flying these planes. We don't think that's a problem, though. The planes are plenty colorful with or without those little pilot pictures.-- You might want to add a bit of tape. We found that helpful.-- And, this is a big plus, with the exception of the pilot stickers, you can easily take these sheets and smooth them out flat, again, and reassemble the kit for another gathering in another season.

Very complicated to make
I got these for my son and his friends. My son is 6 and so I thought they might need some help. They were excited to try it but we were unable to complete the ones we tried. Even the adults couldn’t figure it out. There are lines for folding and sequential numbers and even a little instruction book, but it wasn’t enough for some of the planes. Maybe other smarter people can do it. The kids eventually lost interest and abandoned the project. The paper is colorful and I see the idea behind this but I guess it’s just regular paper airplanes for us. Still the paper is pretty colorful and the final products look cool…if you can figure out how to fold them.

Fun rainy day activity
Busted this out today for a fun rainy day activity with my boys (ages 8 and almost 5). Both of them enjoyed making the paper airplanes and were able to follow along. I helped my 4 year old a couple times but he was able to do most of it by himself with no assistance. Fun little non-electronic activity to do with the kids and lots of entertainment flying them all over the house too!

Nice set for older kids, or for little kids and dads to use
I like this folded airplane kit. It makes cute airplanes fairly easily. My big gripe with this kit is the cost. The main thing you are getting with this is the sheets of 2 sided paper, though there are a few extras. The package does open up to be a runway, which is cool. So nice set, but I probably wouldn't order again.
