Paper Mate1956277 InkJoy Gel Pens, Medium Point, Assorted Colors, 4 Count

I'm a pen weirdo. I've been a teacher for thirteen years, and in my early years I accepted anything that writes. Now, I have my favorite and it's InkJoy Gel Pens. I accept no substitutions (though, Bic Cristals will always hold a special place in my heart.)Here's what's great about them:1. They come in vibrant, fun colors! This particular pack has two of my favorites-- teal and purple. Both colors are appropriate for what I do with them (i.e., writing in my planner, writing notes on stickies, giving student feedback, etc. I'm not signing legal paperwork over here!) The lime green is a little light, but overall, InkJoy makes pens that are legible-- no crazy unreadable neons (except in the larger pack, where yellow is an option-- and I barely use that one for that very reason!)2. The flow! Man, flow is important when it comes to my pens, and these pens have THE BEST FLOW. Gel pens can get ruddy and choppy and can be very unfun to write with, but not these guys-- they are smooth, effortless, beautiful!3. They don't smear and they don't bleed. I dunno, other reviewers complained that they did, but maybe they used them wrong? I'm going to chalk it up to user error because I never ever have a problem. I've used these pens for a few years and it's always a great experience.The only drawback, I guess, is the price. They're more expensive than a ball point pen, but hey, you get what you pay for, and a good writing experience matters to me.

I am a college student and bought these pens to use for my everyday writing. The shape of the pens is particularly round and extremely firm, which makes them feel a little bit different from other pens, but they are comfortable to hold and I haven't had any hand cramps from gripping them (which is usually a problem for me). They write best when held completely upright or with a slight slant, but you will have a very hard time getting any ink to come out if you write with an underhanded angle. The ink dries quickly enough for me to write something down, brush it, and not get any ink on my hands; I am right-handed, but I would imagine these would be good pens for left-handed users who have a problem with the smudging. The colors are very vibrant and saturated with the exception of the green which is more of a lime green on paper than it is a candy apple.Overall, these pens are a great buy and I think they are very much worth the price. I will probably be buying these again after they run out.

The Paper Mate 1956277 InkJoy Gel Pens are fantastic pens to write with! I enjoy using these pens daily. The colors are vibrant. The gel is smooth. The pens are comfortable while writing.No complaints!

If you are as obsessed with stationary and pens as I am, you need to buy these pens! Everyone at my work had them and I fell in love with them. I have ordered them for friends of mine who also love to write. And I've ordered them for myself. You need to get these! They are wonderful!

My server at the restaurant had this pen. I loved it! Got a photo of it and ordered. Do not regret it one bit! Colorful, smooth, comfortable to hold. A+

I wanted gel pens for college work because I love highlighting words that make it easier for me to find them when I need them. I have used other gel pens from this brand and I still love them. But when I needed more, I thought to try these ones. They are really good, bright, and it is indeed gel. What I mean is that you need to be careful when you write things in certain notebooks because it leaks through. I would use it a lot more often if it wasn't for this issue I have with a couple of notebooks I have. I guess if don't need to write anything on the back, these pens are great.

There's nothing to dislike. If I had any comment or would be could they make them in a smaller point. They're wonderful pens and the colors are fabulous.

These pens write just like the Pilot G2. What's neat is that the ink dries much faster than a Pilot G2. I tried smearing the ink IMMEDIATELY after writing, and it's next to impossible. If I were left-handed I wouldn't use any other pen. The color stays fast after drying, with no darkening or fading. The ink doesn't bleed through to the next sheet of paper underneath. The grip is durable yet soft and the spring is just firm enough for a satisfying click. The pen overall nice to hold, use, and write with, especially for the price.
