I didn't really notice a gain or loss in sound quality after installation, which is fine as I just wanted to get rid of the ugly stock antenna.Installation couldn't be any easier. Simply unscrew the old antenna and screw in the new one.It will bend quite a bit in high temps and high speeds, and even "stiffen up" in the bent position should you go from high temps to low temps. This is not a big deal as it will return straight after a while anyway. There was no audio quality loss when this happened. If you do the auto car wash thing you may want to take it off before hand.

I was a little skeptical about ordering this because of the few negative reviews..however, I went ahead and I am not disappointed. I have the same reception as before with both my regular radio stations and seriusXm..I am disappointed though that the antenna does not sit flush which is why I rated one less star. The shipping was quick, easy to install and looks good and still get radio!

Works well and looks sharp!!
Installation was very easy and I avoided the "gap at the bottom" issue by adjusting how it screws together a bit before mounting it. I still get the same reception I did before for all the radio stations I listen to so I cannot complain about signal loss.It looks awesome on my 2015 Wrangler and I can now clean with windows without fighting with a tall antenna

Great
I noticed that the sound seemed crisper after installing, but during the past two weeks of use i did notice more signal loss on one of our weaker channels, not bad, but the channel did not come in as well if i were behind buildings or down in little hollows, however that channel has always had poor signal quality and frankly it could just be it. The other main channels i use are crisp and clear and the antenna looks great installs in 30 seconds

Reception sucks
I get the point of this antenna and its a good value but I found reception sucks with it. Radio stations I can normally get a few hours out I couldn't get until I was right on top of them for daily use. The other problem is that it is a pain to remove. I recommend just taking your old antenna off storing it for the ride and then replace it. If you're in the middle of nowhere you can just use your iPod or a CD until you get situated.
