Q: will this work for a heel shifter for Indian roadmaster?

It works on the Kuryakyn heel shifter. I have the heel shifter and this peg on my 17 Roadmaster. Works great.

Q: How long is the threading from the peg and whats the diameter of the thread ....drilled out my yahmaha Fz1 and was trying to get exact dimensions????

The one or two I installed on a Victory Vision was the same length of thread as the original peg and of the same width so it was a simple instillation. The only difficult part was removing the old (original) peg which had "lock-tight" on the threads (I was concerned of damaging the original threads on removal but it did not happen on either extension) and required the use of large "vice-grips" to back out the original peg. There was no drilling out of the threads on the shifter extension required.

Q: Do the rubber rings freely spin around the peg?

They do not spin "freely" around the peg. If you want to rotate the rings around the peg, you can do so individually by hand to slowly bring a "fresh" side up. Because they are not loose on the peg they do not impact shifting at all. I use these on the rear lever and the short peg on the front so both pegs are at an equal distance for easier footwork.
