LamySafari Fountain Pen Pink Fine Nib (L13PKF)

This is my 3rd Lamy fountain pen. Love the pink cover case. Fine nib writes well.

This was not my first Lamy Safari pen, and I already knew how much I like them. This one is no exception. It a dark bubble gum pink, shiny, and lightweight. Nice affordable pen.

Lamy fountain pens cost less than fancier fountain pens, but write really well. This pink limited edition pen is also quite cute. I have several Lamy Safari pens and would recommend them. I often use them instead of a Levenger pen which cost twice as much but does not flow as smoothly. The outside is not fancy, but this is great for an everyday pen.

I have several Lamey fountain pens and love them all. Write smoothly and are comfortable to hold and a great value for the price.

Expectations: based on the color in the picture provided and some of the language (about it being a limited color), I thought this was going to be a maybe/puce colored pen. The fuschia/hot pink is pretty much everywhere and I would have bought it elsewhere if I knew that's what I'd get. Was really hoping it would be the shade advertised and I'm disappointed it's not.Quality of the Pen: that aside this is my first Lamy Safari. It's not a matte finish but shines. I'm glad it did include the ink cartridge as described but i have a Z28 converter I tested too. Worked like a charm (just make sure to follow instructions re:Lamy). Was expecting it would be a more durable, hefty plastic but I'll get used to it. Used to an extra fine nib but can't tell much of a difference with the fine.TL;DR If you're looking for a pink Lamy Safari to get started with, get this. If you're looking for the color they showed, skip it. 3/5 just because I wanted that mauve shade.

One thing about Lamy Safari fountain pens are the rich colors. This pink is beautiful,rich, and bold. If pink is what you are looking for this pen delivers over the top.The writing with this pen is the same as most Safari (unless it is not working properly) and writes smooth with no skipping. I love the fine point. Before I started using fountain pens I always liked medium tips on pens. I find with most medium nibs on fountain pens they tend to be a little wide and has the possibility to skip a bit more.If you are looking for a fun pen this is for you. The combination of brilliant color and smooth writing is a winning combination.

I had heard that this was a good intro into the world of fountain pens. I write by hand a lot, and was hoping to elevate my writing equipment now that I'm an adult. The pen is scratchy and the ink is inconsistent, fading in and out from dark to pale and faded. Will not be buying this again.

I already have three LAMY pens and ordered this one for my daughter, she is completing her MBA/ teaching credentials; as a gift for finishing her first year. She loved the color and how wellIt writes!

I lost a Lamy pen like this one (it was blue) and I have been using super cheap fountain pens since. I purchased this because I couldn’t tolerate the rough writing of the nib — like fingernails on a blackboard! Lamy pens are smoooooth and the parts are replaceable, if broken. All you need to do is visit your local pen shop and they’ll fix your pen as good as new! Wonderful pens!!! Thank you for the prompt delivery!

Everything is good except the color. It’s so pink for me.

Product was not the colour or finish as shown in the pictures. Ink leaks out of the pen as well. I have several Lamy pens and am used to their quality. I was disappointed when the pen didn’t look like what we’d purchased.
