Save your money on these erasers and buy a box of wine instead!
I bought these “fun” little erasers for my kid’s pencils. Their school has given them such an unbelievable boatload of schoolwork that we have burned though all of the eraser tops that came with their own pencils. It seems that somewhere between trying balance my own job and trying to teach them a second grade and kindergarten curriculum they have made enough mistakes to warrant blowing through a substantial amount of erasers. In order to be thrifty and NOT buy a whole new set of pencils I thought these toppers would be an "exciting" way to get a little more bang for my buck in the pencil department. When they first arrived I had so much hope and happily added them to the tops of all the burnt-out-pencils (my kids spend a lot of time erasing apparently). I was thrilled at how colorful these little erasers were and thought they might add a little flavor to the mundane and seemingly endless work-at-home/teach-my-kids routine nightmare scenario that we all seem to be experiencing right now. Boy was I wrong!Upon the first attempt to erase a kindergarten sized misspelled word, the entire top came off of my kids eraser leaving the nub of the former eraser exposed. I would rather hear nails-on-a-chalkboard than hear the sound of pencil metal getting scratched across paper.Upon closer inspection of the newly purchased eraser topper I realized the top is too thin and pointy to sustain its actual purpose. At this point, I advised my children to erase at an angle while applying pressure to the top of the eraser. It works for a few erases but about three mistakes into a second grade subtraction problem with double digits you can expect for the eraser to lose its top again. They are cheaply made and flimsy, they cannot do what they are meant to do, erase. The colors are not even as cheerful as I was expecting. The "pink" one could more accurately be labeled as "flesh color". I say. Cheers.

Colorful and effective.
Colorful, effective, and worth the price. I divided mine up between the office, study, and kitchen utility drawer, so I will always have one handy.

Breaks apart with first use
Each one broke off with the first attempt at erasing. We are attempting “home learning” due to the pandemic and I bought these as an incentive to get my kids to sit down with homework. They were excited to have new school supplies, but then were so disappointed when they all broke. I suggest looking for something sturdier.

Save Your Money!
This is the first negative review I've ever written as this product is worthless. The depth of the hole that the pencil fits on is way too short so the eraser simply falls off with the least amount of pressure. I had to drill each eraser with a 1/4 inch drill bit so the eraser fits snugly on the pencil. Time will tell how that works, but at this point it seems good. The firmness of the eraser is another concern and it is apparent these erasers won't last long.

Six of them tore almost immediately
Six of these erasers tore almost immediately when using them to erase. Also, they tend to smear and smudge rather than erase completely. Disappointing, would not buy again.
