Nice for desk top.
Didn't want to stick my wi-fi adapter into the computer usb port as often they get bumped into. Wanted something so that I could put it on my desk. Works great.

USB extender with a base
This is just an USB extension with a base. I used it to move my bluetooth adapter from the back of my system to my desktop. I get greater bluetooth range now.

Almost Perfect
The cable does exactly what it's supposed to do and extends your usb port for clunky devices.The issue I have is that there's no magnet or rubber backing to anchor or prevent this thing from slipping.If you need this, consider buying a non slip rubber backing that's 1/25 inch thick, double backed taped, or a thin magnet with adhesive.Magnets shouldn't be a problem with this. I'm picking up a single sided rubber backing. Amazon has one from 3M

Made a difference
I had an almost dead spot for my desktop computer. I installed a new wireless device and it didn't help much. I then added this extender and raised the unit up above the computer and now everything works great. I would recommend.
