Really useful for beginners and intermediate learners.The Introduction goes over the basics, like sentence order and how to put a word together, before easing into the list. The only prior knowledge you really need to have is of Hangul, although it's best to pick this book up after grasping the basics of conjugations. The example sentences (with romanization and translations) that provide context also help beginners brush up on grammar rules and familiarize themselves with reading the language. There's a gradual transition from simple to complex words so it doesn't get intimidating as you read on. It lists nuances as well as the lexical category each word belongs to (nouns, adjectives,...), and when combined with the example sentences it maximizes what you can understand about a word from reading about it.The choice of font styles makes the word, its English meaning, and its instance in the example sentence visually distinct, which makes the book easier to read through quickly during revision (or just whenever you need to).Keep in mind that this book isn't meant to teach you Korean - it's a supplement for vocabulary to be used alongside the primary material you already learn with.
