MoleskineClassic Highlighter Pencil Set w/Sharpener

This highlighter pencils do the trick perfectly, they simply work and the look great attached to my molekine cover, don' expect a very deep highlight on the paper, but they highlight just the amount required.

Better than any ink-based highlighter because it does not smear printed text in any way. Erasing ability is not fabulous, but then again, when have you ever been able to erase a highlighter?

Bought the Pencil due to the rectangular shape design. The cap looks good as well but easily come off. (Maybe due to I didn't sharpen the pencil correctly?)

People,I received this present from a friend a few months ago, and the first reaction was: "what a useless piece of wood".I had never been more wrong. The versatility of this highlighter pencils is incredible, and if you are one of those that resells books, then you'll love these.I have already both two more sets, and these are now a constant protagonist on my desk.Treat yourself with one of these.

I purchased these highlighters along with two Moleskine pencils and a few notebooks. I really wanted to like these pencils. After all, I paid a lot of money for them. The are just too many problems with them. First, for highlighters, the colors are much too dull against the off-white Moleskine pages. Second, they only give you one cap for two pencils - how stupid it that? Plus the clips on the caps aren't very deep. I could see one of these pencils easily getting pushed off a notebook in my backpack or even if you are just carrying them around by themselves. The standard Moleskine pencils are a little better - but not much better. These are just too pricey given all the negatives. I do not recommend them.

The pencils are a nice design and the sharpener works. The cap is a total mystery. First, why only one? Who wants to have sharp pencils in their bag - go for broke and provide two caps! Second, what's with the dorky cap?! It says there are post-it type stickers inside the cap...good luck using it. My cap doesn't actually stay on either pencil and the stopper at the top of the cap fell off and won't go back on. Totally not usable as a cap. Maybe I didn't need a second one after all! Nice pencils, stinky cheap cap. You can probably buy regular color pencils for a fraction of the price.

I love these. I always hated the ink highlighters where you end up with a neon color smeared on the side of your hand.

It does not bleed through thin paper sheet, does not smear, both colors are visible, and can be attached to Moleskine notebook.

Was a little wary having read some of the reviews as to what I would get, but I was not disappointed with the highlighters. They work very well and seem to be very sturdy and produce a vibrant colour. The clip that is supplied with the set is poorly designed and does not work well with my Moleskine notebooks but as I purchased this item mainly for the pencils I have not marked it down in that respect. However if you are purchasing this item with the hope of having a highlighter that will clip on to your notebook with minimum fuss, i'm sorry to say you maybe disappointed.

Im a sucker for Moleskine pretentious products, but if you have an iPhone and a Mac what else are you going to buy? I like the Pencil and Sharpener for the 2B set, but I wanted this high-light to actually attach itself to the page and work as a highlighter, but it fails. Worst is the discovery that the Moleskine Pencil Caps Melt! They go Sticky more Style over Substance. You will waste your time trying to clean them with Lighter fluid. There is no telling when this will happen. You can't buy spares. They don't do pretentious, overpriced metal ones (that I would buy). Where as 'KOH-I-NOOR Highlighter Pencils' work perfectly.
