All I had to do was to put in batteries. The remote started working away.

I order this for man husband. The remote control monster. He ❤️ it. The old one maybe 15 years old stop working numbers. Got this programming was easy. So it worth the purchase.

Great replacement for original Direct TV remote when numbers, guide and other features stopped working.

I was surprised to see that it was a used item. It may have said that somewhere but I didn’t read to closely. It was dirty in places but it cleaned up fine and worked perfectly.

This is the second remote from this vendor. The first was great. When the remote for another room started to malfunction I ordered a second remote of presumably the same type but instead I got an inferior knock off. It refused to accept codes for my visio soundbar and eventually stopped working altogether. It's now a brick.

Found the directions difficult to understand. My adult son did it a totally different way, which seemed easier.

I wore out my last DirecTV remote. The 30 second advance died. I opened the package and there was a remote and that was it. So I put batteries in it off to the TV I went. It is self programmable. Hooked up to my tv and soundbar in less than a minute. All DTV functions worked perfectly as well.
