DR Black Beauties - my go to string for last 4-5 years
Look great, sound fantastic and last a long time!I also have an all black bass with the neon white strings. Same great sound… same great look!!

Sound wonderful with a pick
I put these on an Ibanez SR505. And, I typically use heavy Ibanez (soft and hard) Elastomer, Dunlop Prime Tone, and Dunlop Big Stubby picks. To my surprise, the tone is simply awesome! Very lively, very soulful, very complex, including the B string, and with very little pick noise. As far as the coating goes, I have experienced no flaking at all after several weeks of use. But, as DR makes clear, the strings do need to be protected from damage while installing.

DR bass strings top quality
DR bass strings are simply the best out there in my opinion, if you’ve never used them just try them , well balanced tone , great feel and they last a lot longer than a lot of other brands .
