Good safe. Seems heavy duty enough

This looks to be a well built case. There are a very few complaints in the reviews about the key lock. It's never said here, but YOU DON'T NEED THE KEY LOCK TO SECURE THE CASE! It snaps shut without using the lock. So if security is important to you, you might consider the quality of the lock. If it isn't (and it isn't for me), just don't use the key or lock, and it works dandy. I want protection from fire and water, and not from thiefs.

Sometimes difficult to open and takes awhile with the key, but does keep things locked away.

This is safe is very heavy. When purchasing the safe I thought it was a small under the bed safe. It will hold a lot of documents. I am very satisfied with the safe.

First, I could not get it to lock. I saw some info in the safe that said if you are having trouble with the safe, don't return it, just contact us (the manufacture). That portended bad times to come.Then I could not get to lock. Struggled. Half the time I could get to lock, other times no.I had some items in it that I may have to get to in a hurry. But if I locked it, I may not be able to get to my items.Then a key broke off in the lock. Had to use lock picks to git it out.Next, I had it standing upright with the handle folded flat on the safe. I put a semi-heavy duffle bag on top of for a moment and I heard a snapping sound. Pulled off the duffle and found that the handle had snapped off. And I was like, you GOTTA be kidding me.Now, with my only remaining key, I could not get to lock. So it no longer functions as a safe. May as well be storing my valuables in a shoe box.

This one is a winner! This SentrySafe is built like a tank -- excellent design with high quality materials. This model is both fireproof and waterproof.I bought this for an unusual application. As an RC hobbyist, I have multiple lithium batteries I use in my RC airplanes and RC cars. As a fire prevention measure, I store all my batteries in this ultra-rugged mini safe. With the solid construction and air-tight waterproof seal, should a battery ever catch fire, the lack of oxygen inside this safe would starve and extinguish the fire in short order.If you've ever seen a video showing the combustion of a lithium battery and the consequences of the roaring fire they can create, protecting your home from this potential damage just makes sense. I consider using this as a battery safe to be a very reasonable precaution. Frankly, $40 worth of protection is much cheaper than buying a new house!
