Revived An Aging Toshiba Satellite 755D
Recently my laptop had become laggy and even froze up whenever I had multiple web pages open at the same time (like 6 or more). Several years ago I had installed a SSD and 8GB of ram in this Toshiba Satellite, reviving a 2012 laptop for a few more years. At the time, the specs said 8GB was the maximum you could install. I didn't know any better until I came across a blurb saying you could install more. I found a program that runs and tells you the max memory. I took the chance ordering 16GB of this Samsung memory. It came quickly, even faster than predicted. I installed it this morning and so far its working perfectly. I ran CPUid and another program showing 16GB of Samsung memory installed. The laptop definitely seems faster now.

I was trying to upgrade my Nas memory, so I opted for inexpensive first
I have a Synology NAS (1019+) that comes with 8 GB of RAM, but it can do so many things, running out of memory was a constant problem. Then I read online, it was not only possible, but trivial, to upgrade the RAM in this NAS, although it is not officially supported by Synology. I also read that not every piece of RAM works, so I started with this because, at least at the time I bought it, it was the least expensive, especially from a reputable manufacturer. Long story short, worked perfectly in the NAS, which was perfectly happy, and while Synology, the company, noticed that I had upgraded the RAM, and gave me the "finger wag" about the unsupported upgrade, they were perfectly happy to help me with everything else, so clearly this is not a deal-breaker.

Boosted My Laptop
Easy to install. Was packaged well. Works as intended. Had free global shipping.I'm now able to install as many VSCode extensions as I need, run docker, and I never close any of my tabs on Chrome anymore.

It works...
Purchased this RAM for a Toshiba C850-S5194 lap top. Installed in less than 10 minutes, performs as it should. Came packaged in non-static generating pink bags, inside a plastic bubble bag outer package. Outer bag was marked "Samsung", with a Samsung part number. However the actual modules had NVTEK stickers. Upon installation, CPU-Z reported that they were indeed Samsung manufactured units. This begs the question: If NVTEK uses Samsung modules, is it worth the extra money to buy these? I don't know, I can only say that these particular modules work well.

The crème de la crème of RAM.
I’ve been a fan of Samsung memory for years. Samsung is my go to company for everything memory related. So when I noticed this 16gb DDR3L kit for $69, I was happy to buy it.I installed this in my 2012 vintage HP DV7T-6100 and relaxed the 8gb DDR3 memory that my laptop came with. My laptop now boots up even faster and apps are more responsive.I already depend on Samsung for my 840 Pro and 860 Evo drives, so getting Samsung memory is a no brainer. This is the best ram to get for your legacy device, so do yourself a favor and don’t look for cheap memory and by this Samsung 16gb kit.

Sealed antistatic bags
Upgraded an old laptop to its max capacity. Installed and ran memory tests. 1st boot slow updating upgrade changes to system. All seems good. It's an old 2011 lenovo, mainly used for sandbox environment and 3d printer.Key thing to note is they are sealed anti static bags wrapped in bubble wrap in a tyvek envelope. The tyvek envelope had me worried how some packages arrive.

Installed easily and works perfectly
Very reasonable price for name-brand memory. Installed easily, counted up to capacity and works perfectly. Should have done this years ago.
