At first, I was skeptical of buying a knife off Amazon, claiming to be a Japanese Chef Knife, but I'm amazed by it! I try to use it on each occasion while cooking, and it feels amazing each time. It's looking hella good, it cuts very well, and handles like a charm.

I haven't had a chance to abuse this knife yet however:1. the grip is comfortable, you may want to use some sandpaper where your middle finger will touch blade when pinching2. it slices through paper excellently3. it looks great and the overall quality seems high4. its very well balanced.5. weight is good, not a thin knife but not hefty eitherI'm impressed right off the bat, and I appreciate the lack of ugly branding LOADS.I'll try to update this review as I use the knife.

Nice knife. Very sharp and holds an edge

I originally ordered this for taking cuttings from cactus columns, and I needed something sharp and thin. And it does work excellent for that, but it's ended up being our main kitchen knife for slicing meat and vegetables. It's still sharp after a month of daily use, though I'll probably hone it soon. It is a great looking knife too. My only concern is the handle, I suspect it has a short tang, and there appears to be only a single tiny pin holding it in place along with whatever epoxies were used during handle assembly. It's solid and hasn't shown any signs of becoming loose, but I would definitely prefer a full length tang. Overall pretty happy, would definitely buy it again for the price

3 yrs of use the black part at the handle breaking apart after using it everyday .it retains sharpness really good and i sharpen it every 2 weeks of everyday use . they just need to strengthen the handle part and its a perfect knife
