The Cinderella Murder: An Under Suspicion Novel

I loved every chapter which was a lead to another chapter. I got too curious to know the murderer. Many times I did think who would be the murderer. Excellent book, well written.

Without getting into the story (the back cover says it all), if you are a moderate reader of murder mystery (who did it kind), you will enjoy the book. The book is an easy read with just the right number of characters to keep it light and interesting. The book has an interesting plot which makes you read to the end.However, if you are an avid reader who likes a more complex and compelling narrative then you will be able to see through some of the characters and plots which are not too subtle.I would recommend the book for people looking for a light read (eg. if travelling) or readers starting out in basic mystery novels and looking to migrate to more intricate plots.

The writer keeps you guessing till the end in this intricately woven murder mystery.

Mary Higgins Clark is one of my favorite thriller authors!! While this book was a good read it definitely did not give me the goose bumps that her earlier books used to!! The police come across as grossly incompetent and TV anchors smarter detectives.... hmmmm does not go down very well......since in reality we know how TV anchors are!!

Book did nit live up to expectations. The suspect could be identified midway in the story.

The chapters on one of the CDs opened in an backwards order, which was very irritating for trying to follow the storyline. I bought the audio book for someone who cannot see well enough to read any more. This hiccup did not help.
