This product is not bad in terms of quality for its price, but I’ve been using it for a few months, but one of the batteries won’t charge anymore.

Wanted to give no stars but... What a piece of crap! Almost burnt my house down first charge!Literally bought a few days ago, seemed decent, I have tons of experience charging and discharging lipo batteries as I race RC cars so I have safety precautions always for charging and discharging.Well I let my guard down with this product as it's only regular rechargeable AAA's..... I was wrong! Could have killed my wife and I in our sleep last night!I come downstairs to work on some stuff and smell hot electronics.... Come to find out this EBL "Smart Charger" for 8 AA/AAA charging there own supplied batteries shorted out, over heated, and melted down on my work bench!!Would never recommend this brand! Inferior junk! Buy once cry once right? Don't cheap out of it means yours and your familys lives! So freaked out right now, just found this and beyond upset about it!Even basic non lipo batteries can be extremely dangerous! Wow!

I love the charger and the rechargeable batteries. I also bought some pastel-colored AAAs of this brand and some AAs. I love not having to throw away batteries all the time!
