Worked with no issues on a RTX3060
Added a RTX3060 to a HP Z2 workstation with no 8 pin power connector. Connected two separate SATA power wires from the power supply to this adapter. No issues so far.

Works perfectly
Bought this for a 2nd hand Dell computer I got for my kid. Wanted to add a video card but the PSU didn't have the connector and only had the SATA style connectors. This did exactly what I needed it to, video card works and is stable no power issues.

Worked great.
I needed the split SATA power because I had a power supply that didn't have a PCI Express plug-in and this worked as perfectly.

They work
These work well for bringing power to hungry video cards when your power supply doesn't have the plugs natively coming from its harness. A great way to adapt to these video cards without having to buy into a new power supply and saving on your expenses in the end. They are easy to work with and get the job done.

Work well
These cables do exactly what they advertise to do! Used them with my 4080 until I bought a psu with a dedicated 12vhpwr connector.

No boot.
No boot when plugged in to EVGA 850 Gold GPU. Does boot when these are removed. SATA only puts out 50W per cable so be careful with these - unfortunately even just using these as supplementary power in addition to a PCI 8 pin resulted in no boot.
