WORTH EVERY PENNY! Don't even hesitate!
If I could give this more stars, I would! It is incredibly sturdy and easy to use. I created my own numbered labels so that I could use them year after year (as opposed to using students' names, I wish I had a more close-up picture to show you). This chart is thick and durable. Each student in my class put 1-2 books in their pocket each day to have prepared for free-time or to read after lunch the next day. This chart didn't buckle or rip, and it had A LOT of weight in it at all times. I used (extra?) small command hooks to hold this up, one for each supporting hole on the top. Not only did the itty-bitty hooks hold up the chart all year without even budging, the metal rings on the pocket chart itself didn't even bend! I took this down to store it at the end of the year and you can BARELY even tell that it was used heavily all year. It really looks brand new.My only wish is that this came in different colors - such as grey or black. I know that there are other color options in charts that only have one column - but I really feel that the fact this chart has 3 columns helps to add to how sturdy it is. Having multiple charts hanging would make it easier for them to twist or turn.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND buying this!!!!!!

Exactly what I expected
This is sturdy and keeps me organized. It is a space saver, too. This pocket chart hangs on the back of one of my storage shelves. The front of the shelves faces the classroom so students can access materials. The back faces my desk. I keep all of my homework, quizzes and worksheets for the upcoming month in the pocket chart. When I need them I know exactly were they are and can grab them instantly. I don't have the clutter of stacking trays or bankers boxes on my desk.

I am the director of restident care at an assisted living community and purchased this to use as a mailbox system for my staff quality of the pocket seems very strong in the material is durable however some of the pockets are not sized appropriately. I feel this may still serve the purpose but time will tell

Great organization tool in my 5th grade classroom!
This works very well in my classroom. We are departmentalized and I teach 4 classes of math so each class has a pocket chart hanging on my wall. It is a great way to provide each student with a pocket for their things. My students keep their dry erase marker and eraser in their pockets and put any "work in progress" that they have in their pocket as well. It is easily accessible for students and the pocket is heavy duty enough to these items. We tried to put math journals in here as well but they were too heavy for the chart to hang properly. I would highly recommend this for light-weight items.

Very sturdy and durable!
I am a teacher and i purchased this with hopes to mount it on my classroom wall. I hesitated buying because i needed something durable. I am happy to admit that I am very pleased with my purchase. I can honestly give positive feedback because i was able to accommodate my 17 students homework papers, classwork assignments and I used the extra top rows for my files that i need to print as well as a clip board that I used to log homework. I have a cork wall so i used push pins and go figure it stays in place. It is far from being cheap of flimsy, worth every penny. If i ever wanted to change it over to other wall which is sheet rock I purchased some skinny sized command hooks to use. They fit right through the mountable holes. The only draw back is that it doesn't come with the file folders, but i found some affordable one that were good enough. This was a great purchase. it saved me in file cabinet storage space. I am considering purchasing one for my home.

I like this chart as a good way to organize student papers. However, I didn't like that the holes at the top were quite small. I wanted to use command hooks to hold up the chart but the hooks were too wide for the holes. In addition the chart itself is quite heavy to be hanging on a wall. If you have a chart holder that hands on an easel or free standing, this might work for that.

Great for the classroom!
I work in an alternative school and have a total of 27 students. This pocket chart worked perfectly for my needs. I needed a storage solution that would not take up a lot of space in my small classroom. This chart is made from durable canvas material and can hold a decent amount of weight (the students store three composition books in each pocket). I bolted mine to the cinder block wall with wall anchors and heavy duty screws and washers. It also comes with dry-erase nameplates but I find index cards work better for me (they aren't as bulky).

Some pockets wrong size
Something lacking in quality control--the left side panel was about 1/2 inch smaller than the other 2 panels, making the whole left column useless for putting either a file folder or regular sized school papers in horizontally (as shown in the picture). The stitching is just uneven--if it had been measured correctly and all 3 panels the same size, it would fit school papers perfectly and have enough space for 27 students. As it is, I have to load the papers in that column vertically, which covers the name tags, makes the pages curl out over the edge, and makes the chart far less usable and attractive. It probably just depends on whether you get one that is stitched correctly or not. Since I teach overseas, it was too late to return it once I had discovered the problem. Other than the poorly-measured panels, the construction of the pocket chart is sturdy. The hanging holes are reinforced and the canvas is strong enough to staple or nail to the wall.
