As far as we know, the music runs until the crank stops. Not user friendly

Q: how long does it play when fully wound? Thinking about using it in the classroom as a "timer" for off task talking so I need to know how long it plays

It has no spring-wound action, the music plays as long as you turn the handle

Q: Does it come out of the box? Sounds silly, but making sure.
